Title: quickstart
Post by: t57042 on March 17, 2012, 12:30:43 PM
Hi,
I am testing Hypernext using the quickstart.pdf.
Lesson 2(multiple cards) doesn't do anything when pushing the buttonon the 1st card in run mode.
Platform is Windows7.

Hi Richard

I'm sorry but this sounds like the Goto bug.

There is a workaround though:-

Hello Malkom,

I already tried that. sometimes it seems to work - most of the time it doesn't.
In lesson4 the gotocard statement is introduced. Same problem also after removing the goto instruction for the button.

Hello, I am new to HyperNext, I just started a few days ago and I was trying to do the Lessons, I got everything to work except when I hit the button it only beeps one time instead of beeping five times or three times. How do I get the button to beep five time? What Script do I use? I copied the script with copy and paste into the script field for all the commands but it still does not work? Thank you for any help.

I think this post might help you as perhaps all the beeps are running together and sound like one:-

Hello amit

Welcome to our forums.

This is a good place to start:-

http://www.tigabyte.com/hnfiles/progfirst.html (http://www.tigabyte.com/hnfiles/progfirst.html)

Then follow the lessons in the Quickstart PDF.

Hypernext also has in-built help on its menu bar - Guide.
There is also the Language Reference PDF plus demo projects to explore.

Stuffit expander aborts with an errormessage when trying to expand the downloaded OS9 files (both Studio and Viewer).
I tried several downloads.

Hi Teletep

Both the HyperNext Studio and HyperNext Player archives for OS 9 have now been replaced as they were corrupt.

Thank you again.
