Do people have to have the software to play games made with this software?

Hello

No, HyperNext is not required because HyperNext can build an executable file that you can distribute although on the Windows platform some kind of Installer would be required. The installer bundles your executable file together with any other required files such as images etc and then installs them in the correct place for the user.

Installer 2 Go (now called wItem) is a very good and free installer.
