I would be extremely grateful if you could issue a comprehensive list of differences between the 2 versions of Hypernext.

The differences are the bug fixes and improvements listed there.

Detailed in the Language Reference and Inbuilt help are details of the new SQLite commands.

Note, HN4 is built with a much more modern compiler whereas the complier for V3.83 predates Windows Vista and Intel Macs.

Does that mean that version 4 will not compile for PPC Macs?

No, the V4 build is a Universal so it runs on both PPC and Intel Macs.
