i have created a internet chat software. i want to know how can this already created software be use for chating on my web site? what is the configuration will look like? and how can people connect to the chat room?

The HyperNext Internet Chat project on our downloads page is primarily intended to let just 2 people chat with one another.
You could scale it up to allow a few people to chat but for an Internet Chat Room you need special web-based software
