Using Data Base

Hi, love your program,  but I have zero experience in programming.   So here is what I am trying to do.  I am trying to make a program for my job at work, and lets say its called flag borad.   Where the workers click on a popup box and select the machine number, shift, user, and problem with the machine.  and when they press a button it logs it into a field box.  I feel like i need a database for each item because the items change often or added, but one that can be edited like in excel.  and when all the items are put in the field it also saves it to the excel file, does that make any sense to you.   In other words, what I am trying to make is a flag board where users can enter data, save the data ,and later add where the fixer can check it off as completed work.   any help would be great...Thanks,  I need all I can get.

Yes you can do this in HyperNext.

A good place to start is the QuickStart PDF so you can learn how to create your first programs in HyperNext.

Then look at the projects called Books - there are two, and they are basically simple databases.

One tip, use the home-card  as the starting point for your project - with home-card buttons loading other cards.
This way it is easy to expand your project. The project Features has such a layout.
