Computationally complex graphics
« on: July 01, 2010, 10:18:42 AM »
Hello,
very nice gig by the looks of it. Just one question: could you point me to a sample
(somewhat computationally and/or graphically complex) standaloneĀ app anywebwhere?

Thanks a lot, and do please put me on the mailing list for announcements, etc.

I'm sorry but I don't know of any such app built with HN. We have had a few questions about this topic but product names were never mentioned. Generally most software developers keep the names of the languages they use secret.

There is a Mandelbrot demo project on the HN Projects page - it is also included with HN downloads.

By the way, HN is not the best app to develop graphics if speed is the main concern.
HN includes two languages. HyperNext is interpreted and so quite slow. RBscript is much much faster but still cannot match the likes of Delphi or C++ etc for computational speed.

I am sorry but I do not have time to answer questions by PM or email.
If you post your questions in this forum then it might help others.
