Dependence on HN player?

Is one always dependent on the HyperNext Player or is there a way to hive off standalone applications from HyperNext?

The HN Player runs something like a stack - self contained protected script - that is very small - typically a few kilobytes. They could be distributed by email and anyone with a HN Player could run them.

HN Creator can build apps for Windows and Mac - there are build options on the "Go" menu.
I am sorry but I do not have time to answer questions by PM or email.

It is not a bad idea that we will help each other in finding more information.

No, because HN Creator can build standalone apps for Windows and Mac OS X.
V3.85 can also build standalone apps for Mac OS 9.

Unfortunately with Apple's recent changes to the OS X file system, HN and its built apps won't run on OS X High Sierra.

There are build options on the HN Creator's menu bar.
