Error:HyperNextCreator.exe has stopped working
« on: June 08, 2011, 08:04:18 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install the latest HyperNext Studio on my Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 system with 8GB Ram, but I keep getting the Windows pop-up box telling me that "HyperNextCreator.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." This happens every time I try to open the program.
I have uninstalled, cleaned, purged, and pulled my hair out, and yes, I have turned off my anti-virus program (Kaspersky) when I tried re-installing. Still I keep getting the pop-up error.

Can anyone assist me in getting the HyperNext products installed, or know of a reason that this software wont install correctly?
Your help and insight would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
haslamjd

Hi haslamjd

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time getting HyperNext to run on your PC.

Often when a program won't run under Vista and gives the error message you found it is because some other program is interfering with it. Here is some info from Microsoft's website:-

I am sorry but I do not have time to answer questions by PM or email.
If you post your questions in this forum then it might help others.

Thanks for the fast reply.

I went to the online article you suggested and followed its instructions. As soon as I restarted in "clean boot" the HyperNext program ran like a charm. I will next follow the article's recommendations for how to sort out which startup item was conflicting. Again, thank you for your information. I hope this helps someone in the future with this same issue.
