HyperNext and MySQL
« on: July 01, 2010, 11:12:18 AM »
I am interested in testing Hypernext but have a preliminary question:

Does hypernext have hooks built into it to communicate with databases (e.g. mysql)? I want to incorporate database queries and output into my programs.

Thanks for answering this question

Unfortunately the current version of HyperNext is V3.x and it does not have any way of communicating with an external database.

HyperNext V4,  does have commands for connecting and manipulating data on external and remote databases such as MySQL etc.
Note, V4 will only run on Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS X platforms as OS 9 is no longer supported.
