« on: July 01, 2010, 09:29:21 AM »

Im very new to this im my problem is that I want to add images to the software, my main problem is to create a image with a maplight where i hover over with the cursor which highlights that aea?

Is it possible to do this with this software and if so how?

Yes, i think you can do this map hover in HyperNext and there is a Map Viewer project included with the HN Bundle - it is listed as Project 23 on the web site Projects Page.

HN doesn't have a mouse movement detection local to a canvas but has Screen relative functions for returning the X & Y coords of the mouse.
As HN knows the location of the window and canvas so you can easily work out where the mouse cursor is within the canvas.
You could call these Mouse Coord functions from within a timer and update your maplight area.
Just keep the large map in an Image Bank and copy the area from that to your maplight.
