Hello HyperNext Community,
I've just looked through the HyperNext QuickStart guide and gone through the tutorials and forums and am a little unclear as to whether HyperNext has the capabilities for a specific requirement I have.
What I'm looking to do is to create an EXE program in HyperNext that will do all of the following:
1) Display a form and autofill some of the values by fetching data from an MS Access database
2) Write the form content to the same database after performing some validations
3) Autogenerate Excel reports in a particular format that I desire by fetching some information from the MS Access database and other inputs from a user interface
The database needs to be an MS Access-based on (though I can consider an Excel-based table as well if required). The report, however, will HAVE to be in Excel format, and will need to be more than just a table with rows and columns. There will be headers, branding, rich text formatting, a non-tabular format and possibly some graphs (the graphs are not 100% compulsory though).
I'd appreciate it if anyone could let me know whether these features are possible within HyperNext and if so, how I could go about implementing this.
