Yes, in many respects that would have been easier for all of us but there are just too many differences between the two products and their respective target platforms. Clarity is even more important when the target users are beginner programmers who might find it hard to distinguish between what is relevant to their needs.
Of course the HyperNext code examples in both forums can still be useful to each user group.
